Our Christmas weather is not looking good, rain every day, not snow (with exception of Thurs the 18th for snow followed by a high of 54 and rain that will melt the snow in a flash). Look for flooding and mud slides in the mountains around Boise.

Fortunately for me, invasive urbanized wild turkeys prefer scratching around wide open grass lawns, not clumps of native perennials, so they pass by my yard without wrecking havoc. 36 just strolled by (not all pictured, as the flock was spread out half a block). There are some big toms in the mix.

Back in Dec. 1975, I remember getting in this little car and loving it. A man walked up and asked me if he could take a picture of me for the paper. We were down at PayLess Drug Store in Lewiston. Alas, I never got that little car for Christmas.
