Married for five years. Born in South Korea, raised in Tennessee. Presently living in Utah. A fan of camping during any season. Psychologist. 28 years old. I'm a new uncle with a 14-year old kid brother. My husband Kevin's a pretty cool guy. NO KINGS.
I had second-hand embarrassment watching this, and I rarely get that feeling when Trump acts like an idiot. It's like, come on dude. The world is laughing at you. No one respects you. MAGA politicians are leaving you. You don't hold the cards.

But he has a PEACE PRIZE now! Isn't he SPECIAL???? 🐖

Lol I try and save those jokes for the end of the day when everyone knows the solution.

On a different note, you're pretty cool, so I'll let you in on this. My little brother who's fighting leukemia, a boy I'd take a bullet for, is in remission. He did it. I KNEW he could! He'll get his hair and muscle back and finally be able to be a teenager. Our late father would be so proud.

Hey folks! I know this thread isn't for this, but I wanted to let you know that my brother who's fighting leukemia, a boy I'd take a bullet for, is in remission. He did it. I KNEW he could! He'll get his hair and muscle back and finally be able to be a teenager. Our late father would be so proud.

You did better than I did! I dare say you're, ahem, among the winners.

See what I did there?

I love date night. I hope you have a good time!

On another note, a miracle happened today. Jake's in remission. He's finally coming home. 💝

Speaking of the Promenade, my husband was riding through there on a deer, but he was wearing Majora's Mask. The first Bokoblin he saw still attacked him, though!

Turned out it wasn't really attacking LINK, though. It just wanted the meat. We were laughing so hard.

He sold the meat to Beedle. ☺️

The world is watching ... and laughing. How does he not understand that?

Did your dogs have trouble adjusting to daylight savings time? I hadn't even thought about how pets cope with that till I saw the posts here.

Heh, thanks. That brings my streak up to double digits. 😁

Is this the one by the Lanayru Promenade? I was fighting him once, and a deer came prancing along. Poor little guy got fried in the Lynel's fire attack.

Heh. There's a courtroom video game I like where one of the witnesses is studying literature, and she spends her entire time on the witness stand reciting bad haiku poetry.

She turned out to be not only the murderer in that first case, but also the big bad of the entire game.

Of all Congresspeople, there's no excuse for any ICE agent who might claim they don't recognize Rep. Grijalva. Mike I-Have-A-Tiny Johnson saw to that.

I'm starting to wonder if he's even going to be Speaker next year. Elise Stefanik seems to be on the warpath.

I'm feeling second-hand embarrassment.

And on that note (pun intended), have a great Friday, Annie.

I gave my mom and dad a hug, which (aside from with my boyfriend Adam) I didn't do very often, and headed down the street to tell Mr. Kim. So finding the song Mr. Kim and I sang on YouTube today reminded me of my late father. Fortunately, Kevin's always there when I really need to have a good cry.
December 5, 2025 at 4:04 PM
When I broke the good news to my parents, my dad's response ... just, wow. Sometimes someone will refer to their dad as the best dad in the world; I feel that way too. I asked him if I could go tell Mr. Kim. "Absolutely, just be home for dinner, and Jake [two years old at the time] wants to play."
December 5, 2025 at 4:04 PM
A few years later was when Mr. Kim and I sang at my dad's holiday party. It was the first time I'd performed alongside Mr. Kim. My father was so happy. He'd sung the song back when he was younger as well. Anyway, at age 17, I auditioned into a pretty prestigious choir of youth across the state.

The pleasure's all mine. You're welcome. When I was 10, I sang a solo for a school music concert. My teacher encouraged my parents to get me into voice lessons. So I started lessons with James Kim, a man who lived down the street. He was Korean, which also helped me ease into it.

Used a random word generator to choose my first word. It wasn't really the best starting word, but it went okay. On three ... One, Two, Three, Wordle RULES!! 😁

We both sang this an octave lower, of course. I was 12 years old and my voice hadn't dropped yet. I was very much a first tenor. If you're okay with a DM, I'll let you know about my dad and why this song meant so much to him. If not, that's totally okay too.
