like, maybe two or three years ago there was a study or report alleging there had maybe been a bit of suppression of information on side effects - i remember one woman's teeth all fell out? no one could say if there was causation lmao - and then that just. never came up again in my circles

there was a moment in public health when we were about to have a big conversation about this, and then AI took the wind out of it, and now this probably hugely important topic has a very narrow radius of attention outside of clinical medicine. bad read on what will be important for the future!
