A passionate social enterprise working along the South Bank to provide co-operative homes, parks and gardens, shops and design studios, galleries, restaurants, a nursery and family and children’s centre, sports pitches, as well as a range of activities.
Each week, we have a number of opportunities for people of all ages to get involved at Coin Street.

We have over 25 sessions available, the majority of which are free or cost a maximum of £3.

Colleagues came together for Inset Day on Tuesday, which included updates from our Leadership Team, a staff‑led unconference, and Eco Collective insights. We also heard an inspiring talk from stroke survivor Baz Kelly, before rounding off the day with a tournament at Boulebar.

This Race Equality Week, we completed the 5‑Day Challenge, exploring stereotyping, the bystander effect, communication styles and allyship. Each activity highlighted the everyday actions we can all take to build a fairer, more inclusive workplace.

Yesterday's book club brought colleagues together to reflect on 'Why I’m No Longer Talking to White People About Race' by Reni Eddo-Lodge. This book is a powerful exploration of race, privilege and inequality, sparking a meaningful discussion during #REW2026

On Tuesday we turned a conference room into a cosy neighbourhood cinema with sofas, pizza, popcorn and drinks, screening a powerful film about Bayard Rustin, a key architect of the 1963 March on Washington. A thoughtful and reflective Race Equality Week event.

Thank you to Eden Caterers for over 10 years of support at our Young at Heart seniors’ parties. Last Friday they provided a delicious roast dinner and crumble for 127 local seniors, served by our staff and volunteers. Their support makes this event fun and memorable year on year.

Our Christmas Carols by Candlelight service raised an incredible £1,671 for Coin Street's Youth and Community programmes and St. Johns Room for You.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated to our Toy Drive and Care Package Appeal. We collected a grand total of 717 toys and essential items, along with £190 in supermarket vouchers which were delivered to local families in need.
