Screenwriter/playwright. Love music.
I once read Budd Schulberg's intro to the published version of On the Waterfront. He said people his age, early 40s, were too old by and large for Hollywood. That's for a screenwriter. For actors, it's usually 20s or bust. And as politically incorrect as it is, you should go with a youth movement.

I once wrote a cocktail book. lol. It also was a history of bartending in Pittsburgh. Don’t drink anymore. It’s also as hard to convince bartenders to date you too. At least when they’re on shift.

I've actually dated strippers. But I didn't meet them in the club.

And Hollywood is bankrolled by Silicon Valley. Where do you think all that money comes from for multimillion-dollar options for spec scripts and TV shows?

I don’t know. For me, it’s someone you would want to and could have sex with. But if it’s the sexiest man or woman alive, it’s just a fun pipe dream. Like women with Paul Newman. Or men with Margot Robbie.

You found it interesting enough to comment on it. But that's a digression.

At the very least, whoever fits that description has to address that concern adequately. Most of the country would feel that way. Especially considering the vast majority of voters are older.

If a buddy of mine said he should run for president, my immediate question would be, "How much of life have you experienced to be entrusted with that responsibility and power?"
The job is so complex and demanding that I don't think anyone that age could be prepared to do it.

It's also egotistical, to say the least, to think that you should be president at 39 based solely on building a large social media following. What understanding of the military do you have? Of any foreign policy? Did you diffuse a situation like George Mitchell did in Northern Ireland?

I also can't fathom being egotistical enough at 33 to say, "I should be running New York City."
That's not a knock on Mamdani. Good for him that it worked out. But for anyone at that age to assume they should hold that power is megalomanical. Most of us are still wandering at that age.

My test of true fame is that you can walk down the street and people will point at you, saying, "That's so-and-so." Or stop to take a picture of or with you. Or ask for an autograph on the street. Simply having a substantial social media following doesn't cut the mustard for me.

And by rewards, I don’t mean lavishing a luxurious lifestyle full of beautiful women and fancy cars. It means understanding and appreciating that we all want the American Dream of spending our lives with someone and maybe starting a family. And if they help you, help them get to that point.

I’ve heard people like the red in the photo with white backdrop. Designer did a good job with options.
