What I'm terrified for is when it is used to check building plans or engineering documents the way it is used to go through resumes and college applications. "Well [some model built and marketed specifically to industry] approved the design so it has to be right. We don't know why everyone died!"

We've seen exactly that from Deloitte twice now in major national govt contracts. 'oh that was the only place we used AI. Weird that it was also the only area with a mistake'. Pretty sure that's actually a feature to these idiots: a buffer of competence.
