Hi fellow critters and humans, my name is Cody, nice to meet you all! ^w^

I'm a kind lycanthrope (don't have a human form though) from Mallorca who likes nocturnal liminality and swimming underwater in my aquatic form which I turn to through my necklace!
Nice! ^w^

Also do you guys think Beetrice, given how she is a human-made creation, shares the same oppressive beliefs as her company she was the face of?

It could also symbolize abuse as a whole, how children were mistreated and forced to rapidly grow up in an unhinged and narcisistic world (as recounted by Jayne in one of her final artworks and zine).

As Adult Swim once said late at night in their programming, the dawn really IS our enemy.

It also symbolizes the boiler explosion at Factory Nine, because said factory is where that garden is. Not to mention the fact that plants are living things too makes this picture's context even more atrocious (in a good way).

Also RIP to all those poor bees that were caught in that explosion.

Perhaps the most haunting part of the update is this picture. How it captured Bartlebee's oppressive nature as a whole. A dozens of blooming flowers suffering under the destructive warmth of a blind star giant that refuses to open its eyes and see the destruction it's causing.

The heavy topics discussed in this update are handled very well, Bartlebee Brands really was ruled by a tyrant, stolen by a wannabe manchild and treated its workers like shit, not to mention the fact they stupidly recreated Ebisugaoka in real life in their own country Aaron treated like a "kingdom".

Thank you Ryukishi07 for making such an incredible and haunting experience in Japan! ^w^

I mean, the director for the first game moved on to create his own horror game series in a setting he was very familiar with to work on.

Overall I consider my third or second favorite Silent Hill game next to 3 on the number one spot.

It's not perfect but I really love the game for what it is! ^w^

What if Konami just said "Make a horror game" to Team Silent instead of initially persuading them to chase Resident Evil's success when it came out? (though that doesn't mean I dislike the first game, I really like it for its importance in shaping the series)

(I finished 3/5 endings)

I personally view it as Ryukishi's reimagining of the series itself. The 'f' might stand for 7 which makes it the seventh entry of the main series (counting Homecoming & Downpour) but also that said number is part of his pen name.

The game might also be a what-if as in:

The combat can be a bit stiff at times but I got used to it, plus I had fun destroying everyone in my path in New Game+ runs. >:3

The way the game's story structure in terms of that mode is really interesting and thought-provoking for me. It makes me really wanna get all the endings badly.
