Today we honor Martin Luther King Jr., a man who led a movement across the nation for equality and peace. A man who wished to end segregation and who had “a dream” that all men, women, and children regardless of race, religion, and class could come together, hold hands, and sing. This man used his religion and voice to call for unity. Right now, we are inducting a man as head of our nation who wishes to segregate, discriminate, and incite violence. A rapist and convicted felon. Twice impeached. A man who only cares about the 1%. A man who uses (italics) his (end italics) religion and voice to call for separation. How sad to see how far our nation has fallen.
