That sounds like a great idea. A couple of notes from me:
SHA-2 would be a better choice of hash function .
You may want to digitally sign your doc as well and publish your public key. This allows somebody to verify the integrity of the original doc.

I use Copilot and ChatGPT for code completion and tasks with clearly defined requirements. Writing unit tests helps ensure the generated code behaves as expected.
