Northern developer known to dabble in everything, though particularly a fan of a bit of Umbraco. Can randomly pop up at meetups anywhere, you've been warned!
I'm touched by how many people have shared kind words, thank you everyone. The funeral is arranged for 12th March at 10am at Stockport Crematorium in the Rowan Chapel and the service is open to anyone. Afterwards there'll just be a small private meal for family. -Angela

It's with great sadness I have to share the news that Terence passed away earlier today. Thank you to everyone who had wished him well, he was much loved by me and many more and he will be greatly missed -From Angela, Terence's wife

Of course the main downside with the 'starter packs' (such as the Umbraco one) here on Bluesky is that they swiftly go from being useful for newcomers to just being abused by bot farms to find quick lists of names to bother!

It's been feeling very touch and go whether I'd make it to 2025, but make it I have! So whatever you have planned tonight, I wish you all a Happy New Year, and hope the year ahead is a great and prosperous one!

Merry Christmas to you all! Christmas isn't quite how we had hoped it would be here this year, but we are still making the best of it as a family, and hope that whatever you may have planned makes for a great day too!

The good news is I am finally out of hospital.

The bad news is that being back home where I have a baseline, it's now quite clear just how downhill I've gone in such a short space of time.

Keep everything crossed for me as I need it. You know I love you all regardless!

What a difference four days can make. Earlier in the week I was out and about with folks, today I'm on a private isolation ward being pumped full of antibiotics as they're worried about me having picked up a serious infection that the immune system is struggling to fight off!

I have been hoping to make it to both the DotNetNorth/UmbManchester social on Tuesday and the Umbraco London Quiz on Thursday. But the way the health is acting since the weekend I'm definitely going to have to play it by ear unfortunately. Still keeping everything crossed for now!

It was a bit of a battle getting down here today with the storm aftermath, but once I've committed to something there's no stopping me. :p And I'm glad I did as it was a great evening at Umbraco Bristol, with excellent talks from Matt and Owain containing a lovely mix of humour and insight! #umbraco

I'm not planning to drop Mastodon just because Bluesky is the current flavour of the month. But what this will hopefully do is patch up that remaining gap in people meaning I've been having to crosspost between Twitter and Mastodon for the past year. Bluesky can just supplant Twitter instead.

I know I have a reputation to maintain for always doing super serious selfies. But even I can be melted occasionally!

Was really looking forward to getting out for @dotnetnorth.bsky.social tonight. But a last minute flare up of the chest issue barely 30 minutes before leaving time has made me feel too sick now, so I'm going to have to miss out again. Sadly just the way things are now!

I'm not totally sure how well I can manage another social media account. But I like to cover all the bases so I've got myself on here too just incase.
