I haven't seen Spotify explain its choices the way Pandora does. It would say "Because you like syncopated beats and..." blah blah blah.

Mine is garbage but my Discover Weekly playlist is about 20% good and enough to keep things fresh. I'm not sure what the difference is. Electronica, alt/punk rock with British accents & background notes and melodies in the <100 Hz range is a cheap way to get my attention. Also disco.. but with bass.
