There's just two of these left with EMR now with 001 and 002 in the process of being prepared to be shipped off the Lumo
Fun trains, though it feels like they never end when you do 7 coaches of rubbish collection 😂

Sheffield - Derby - Sheffield - East Mids Parkway - Sheffield - Derby - Sheffield was my turn yesterday. Still playing about with these trains for now with all 5 engines running on 009 😎

They're definitely an upgrade over current generations of IET. I was particularly impressed by the ride quality compared to their 80X cousins and the seats are decent for the length of journeys they do

They're definitely an upgrade over current generations of IET. I was particularly impressed by the ride quality compared to their 80X cousins and the seats are decent for the length of journeys they do

At the end of the day though, trains are still extraordinarily safe, 222004 successfully got us into London and back

Finished the weekend in Bristol to meet up with a friend of mine. After staying into Monday, I then dashed over the London where I unsuccessfully attempted to find a new B23 DLR train (they're both having maintenance downtime)
Ahh well, all part of the fun! Back to work tomorrow though

Myself and @pacerclara.insanity.tube went to seethe Railway 200 Inspiration Train whilst it had a stint at Edinburgh (yes me in Scotland again)

6 shifts complete - From short trips to London and back to an 11hr shift with a taxi back from Derby, these past few days certainly have had some variety (at least by today's standards)

After experiencing ✨ Brussels terminal ✨ (urgh eww), we took the Eurostar back to the big smoke before ending up on LNER's Pride Azuma to our respective home cities (and a 185 for me too)
I probably could've done Dortmund to Sheffield in 10hrs which is really impressive! Germany, I'll be back

The ICE3 Neos are what trains should be. Comfortable, well thought out, and my goodness I'm hooked on the Bordrestraunt! We had an amazing time and the grub was very tasty! 😍

Yes, some ICEs were 90L+, yes ours was delayed too, yes we lost even more minutes so ended up about 50L at our destination. Unrefurbished ICE2 seats aren't comfy either 🥲
