The CBA outlines a clear path to promotion to Teaching Associate Professor and eventually Teaching Professor. Our Architectural Studies program is thriving! We offer both a B.A. and B.S. in Arch. Studies. This position will teach mostly Arch Theory (no studio requirement).

Pitt has a unionized faculty, and the CBA governs contracts for positions like this. After an initial renewal in the second year, the position goes into “presumptive renewal” on a five-year time horizon.

I know… this is a moment when few international candidates look at this country and think “I want to go there.” But I promise it isn’t all bad!
