Today’s CPI report showed that coffee prices are now up 25.9% over the past year, while Cafe Du Monde coffee on Amazon now costs 33% more since January.

This is a direct result of Trump’s extreme tariff agenda that puts taxes on goods we can’t even produce in America.

Folks, our patented Policy Generator is back!

Generate your own random Trump Tariff announcement — odds are that it’ll be less random than anything the White House has announced this week.

We’re thrilled to announce the return of our New Liberal Action Summit, taking place October 20-21, 2025. It’ll be our fourth annual gathering of center-left activists, thinkers, and leaders, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring everyone back to DC for this.

New from @cathyreisenwitz.com in The New Liberal Bulletin:

Alabama Democrats have all but faded into irrelevance. It’s long past time to embrace fresh policies and elevate a new generation of pragmatic leaders who can reconnect with the voters they’ve lost.

ICYMI: CNL Steering Committee Member and Hillsborough Commissioner Matt Hughes (@matthughesnc.bsky.social) has a new op-ed out in @newsobserver.com arguing for changes to restrictive covenants and zoning laws that limit the supply of housing in North Carolina.

Donald Trump and his allies want to end birthright citizenship.

It’s not just unconstitutional—it’s un-American.

CNL Director Colin Mortimer has a new piece running nationwide on what’s at stake: www.thesunchronicle.com/opinion/colu...

Trillions of dollars lost in the market, nearly all of our allies have been alienated, and a potential recession ahead of us, all for barely enough tax revenue to pay for a single new public restroom in San Francisco.

That’s the good old-fashioned art of the deal, folks.

Folks, ICYMI, the Globalist Championship of our 2025 shill bracket is live, and everyone on Bluesky can participate, because now, the markets will decide who emerges victorious.

Per our tradition, whoever can raise the most money for @againstmalaria.bsky.social will be crowned the 2025 Chief Shill.

For those of you still on the other site, our annual Chief (Neoliberal) Shill Bracket is taking place over there, and the first round starts in 20 minutes. Same handle as over here.

Hi! Stock expert here. This is not funny, stocks only do this when they’re in extreme distress.

So, aside from the fact that this question from the volunteer interest form on the @democrats.org website glaringly omits issues that should be a priority, I can't think of a better example of Democrats caring more about checking boxes than solving problems.

The Center for New Liberalism is proud to endorse our friend Kevin Schilling for Washington State House District 33.

As Mayor of Burien, Kevin has been committed to the pragmatic approach to governance that we advocate for, and we can't wait to see him in the State Legislature.

The war on our federal government through DOGE isn’t making it more efficient—it’s just inflicting pain on thousands of talented workers and making America less secure and competitive.
