oh wow yeah, his whole body is turned toward his "truth," but he looks and reaches BACK at the love he also denies.... literally like the beliefs he displays to others/acts upon vs what his heart really wants.... such a good piece omgggg

i also notice him reaching for and looking down at the side with sophie's warm memory .. even as he's not fully committed/sure (not reaching with both hands), he's still showing what he longs for and most deeply wants to actually be true despite what he believes

- players; one gets "warmth" and the other gets "abandonment" ... no one can get both!!! (according to kazuya) ... which is why, like you said, it rips him apart trying to understand why he has such longing and warm memories of someone who he simultaneously believes did not even truly love him...

your thoughts/analysis show in this piece COMPLETELY. the swirls of anguish behind kazuya... and i love how the vision of his mother + the memory of drowning could be two sides of the same card..... and putting the two opposite halves on either side of the machine bc thats literally the fate of the-

ik chang is the only one who handles his alcohol maturely but in this world of mine he is so stressed out from the homoerotic tension he has with mario that they cant have an outing together without him ordering too much or hiding in the bathroom
