There are several pieces of media framing that are utterly cursed, but this one - that any setback that a fascist suffers is fuel for further fascism - has to be the worst of them.

Good grief, not everything is “a gift for the far-right”. When a public figure gets caught doing not only cruel but also illegal things and then gets punished for that, it’s called “consequences”. It’s not called “encouragement to do more cruel and illegal things”
