Sizeable nose of warm air aloft from the 18z LZK sounding from roughly 890mb to 720mb will favor sleet over central AR and parts of southern AR.
Per the 12Z SGF sounding, ptypes over parts N, NW, and NE AR will remain snow.

Absolute shortsighted move as NCAR does far more than climate research. The research and projects provides advancements in atmospheric sciences/meteorology that saves countless lives as well as billions in economic loss year after year. Another idiotic move by the current administration.

The loss of climate data isn’t just shortsighted but also dangerous.
Well this would be a big problem for someone like me. I have come to rely on the MRCC's cliMATE tool for historical weather queries on the regular. Losing this would be devastating.
