Good video, but I doubt the Caspian will be be an "exploraconda killer". From the specs, it's arguably an inferior alternative to a fully engineered exploraconda.
It will be great for the neutron highway, though.
I will definitely get one. If only to see if I can make a useful explorer out of it.

Good video, but I doubt the Caspian will be be an "exploraconda killer". From the specs, it's arguably an inferior alternative to a fully engineered exploraconda.

Unless the issues with the size of the fuel scoop and fuel tank is adressed, I doubt many explorers will buy this ship for Arx. (Unless they're compulsive ship hoarders like I.)

Bottom line? I wouldn't recommend the Caspian for hardcore explorers.

OK, I'll be getting one of these next week. However, I can't resist the opportunity to be a killjoy.
Both the fuel scoop and fuel tank (size 7 max) seems undersized for a size 8 FSD. Meaning longer time to refuel, and a handul of jumps before it runs dry. Unless the mk2 FSD has better fuel economy.

Visting these sites during the night time is a bit like walking around in a dreamscape. That takes away some of the tedium of jumping between the three same "scars" to collect samples.

I went back to the carrier to switch for a ship better suited for exobio, although this is a mission runner. But it has a preengineered surface scanner, speed and two SRVs.
Still, there's something that feels a bit off about this place.
I'm not sure these "trees" are plants at all.

So how did @frontierdev.bsky.social get the brilliant idea to nerf already colonised systems by retroactively applying new rules? Some of us have put some time and effort into building our colonies to become what they were before the nerf. And in many cases some Arx as well.

Out of character and for the record, I actually enjoyed the new season of The Witcher, despite all the hate it gets. (Maybe because I never had that high expectations on it.)
