How do you refine your campaign as you go? How much is "planned" from the start? Do you just have an outline with key points and fill it in more as you go? Do you start with the ending and move backwards from there?

I echo the notes on sound and vibes. Overproduction is also a turnoff. I have turned off several that were too sound effect heavy, where the effects were very frequent and drowned out the players.

Many artists of any form are haunted by the projects or ideas and have to create, just to be free. I can imagine podcast and AP creators are no different.

Becoming self aware enough to realize they are a figment of someone else's imagination, created for fun and entertainment, that they have no free-will and the fickle will of the Gods is just random dice rolls.

Or bees, great swarms of bees.

Otto Fire. A chaos magic wizard who had an accident and the only spell he can cast now is scorching ray, but once he casts it, it just repeats at random targets until hes out of spell slots for the day.
