Any particular strengths and/or weaknesses? consistency, "big occasion", determination, aerial ability, leadership, passing, positioning, rushing Out, shot stopping, physical strength?

Often when trying to get this old-timey players right, I mostly rely on Wiki, Transfermarkt, YouTube and Barry J Hugman. As a Dane my own knowledge of what happened below Premiership level in those years was almost non-existent before starting this project - so I always appreciate any input.

That's one player who wasn't in the CM 97-98 db until right now: Had to create him just because you mentioned this. Might be fun for any real Reading fan to find him in Colorado Rapids ;-)

Oh, I see. I'm working on the player data for our CM 97-98 mod and trying to get them right. Afaict Bibbo was probably somewhere between average and good in the 2nd Div in his best years. And it looks to me like Hammond was a pretty average Div 1 goalkeeper. Does that seem like a fair assessment?

Tell me more about this, please. I did some research, and judging from Wiki and Transfermarkt, both mostly played Div 2 and Div 1. You're saying they were key in the rise to the Premiership in 05-06? And finishing 8th in the 06-07 season? How could they both have been key? 🤔

I wonder whether or not results would be different if you did the same test with Heading 1. Or even BOTH Shooting and Heading 1.

Nothing to do with shooting attribute? Really? I would say a good combo of shooting and off the ball - maybe creativity and flair as well.

Congtats, you found a corner of the world that we haven't fixed yet. 😜 As we get more and more players to fit into our framework, the lower div outliers will become increasingly visible in the game, I suspect. Some are good, but some of them are shite despite appearances.
