Food insecurity is well documented on college campuses, and our exploratory study shows water insecurity is also a concern. At a large U.S. university, @abrewis.bsky.social @awutich.bsky.social & I found above-average food insecurity and a 43% prevalence of low to moderate water insecurity.

I am teaching Anth of Infectious Diseases in fall.

Given the fundamental shift in the global health landscape, I'm going to really have to reimagine this class.

People have gathered outside USAID HQ for press event with Democratic Congressmen Beyer, Raskin, Connolly and Olzewski and Senator Van Hollen where they're addressing the building's mysterious shutdown today in the midst of the Trump admin dismantling the agency.

I have sent a letter to my state representatives asking them to pass a law disallowing companies from operating in the state where C-Suite executives are waging war on the Constitution, punishable by civil forfeiture of company property.

Just spitballing, but things that could happen today:
*Court injunction protecting USAID
*Dems demand hearings on Musk's role
*Someone introduce articles of impeachment
*Dem officeholders go to USAID offices with USAID workers
*Refuse to conduct any more Senate confirmations until this is resolved
