I finally finished Lost Records: Bloom & Rage last night. I stopped playing after leaving through a bedroom window. I thought I made a bad choice. Since it was coming up on the 1st anniversary, I figured I'd face the consequences, and see what happens. So glad I returned to it.

I was looking for shielded twisted pair cable. Unshielded Twisted Pair is known as UTP. So one would assume that it would be STP. Nope, I found it as F/UTP. Foil-shielded / Unshielded Twisted Pair. F/U indeed.

The desktop mode in the latest Android 16 version is pretty good. This is a Pixel 8. I'm connected via cable USB-C alt display mode. Running the camera app on the external display, and tapping the shutter button on the touchscreen.

Google has separated their app store personalization settings from the general account settings. That got me thinking. Does anyone even look at app store ads? I'm pretty sure every app I have ever installed I knew what I was getting for before I opened the store.

Still playing Kingdoms of Amalur. Come to a town called Whitestone. Half the characters here are voiced by Matt Mercer. Is it a strange coincidence, or an inside joke?

It came up on Taskmaster Champion of Champions 4, and it's something I've never understood. In many sporting events with some sort of synchronized start, if you start too quickly, but still after the indicator, it can still be considered a false start. That seems silly.

Interesting fact. With the release of BIND 9.0, in October of 2000, the Dreamcast DNS queries started failing. Because it was appending garbage, and the new version of the DNS server rejected it. I made the request to ignore the extra, rather than fail.

Watching some Only Connect. This one I knew the 1st and 3rd clues, so I could guess the final. The team was given credit, but they said, "there's a song called G6 by some band we can't remember." I was like, you mean Like a G6 by Far East Movement, which was produced using Propellerhead Reason?

I've not had a random game on a Saturday for a while. So here's Kingdoms of Amalur. I've actually been playing Re-Reckoning recently, having never finished any version of it before. It's a fun, open-world, fantasy RPG. Shame game studio nonsense got in the way of more people playing it.
