Just heard that there's no Hindley Earnshaw in the new Wuthering Heights film and I don't understand how or why. This film is going to be an abomination isn't it 😭

'The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years experience and wealthy, generous parents...'
The min wage for a 40 hr week is £25,397. The BBC is advertising a job for a journalist with "significant experience" on the Today programme for £27k.

Sure, this is benchmarked - but it just isn't good enough. What do we want from our national flagship news radio broadcast?

Journalism is dying.

£240m. With no tender. Palantir.

I wrote to Wes Streeting last week demanding answers.

Every day without any transparency deepens the scandal.

Palantir out.
Mandelson’s malign influence runs right through the heart of this Government.

Not least in the govt’s NHS data deal with Palantir – a spy-tech firm co-founded by a man who thinks the NHS should be ‘ripped up.’

I've written to Wes Streeting urging him to ditch this dangerous deal.

Vonn's crash this morning was a visceral reminder of the commodified human. Vonn should never have been allowed to take part in that event. The fact she was allowed to, and the real-time consumption of her accident, exposes the voyeuristic fascination we have with celebrities/people of interest.
Immediate response to Lindsey Vonn's crash at the Winter Olympics
We’ve had on the Winter Olympics in our house this weekend and this morning I found out who Lindsey Vonn is.

It's time that every Left or Left-leaning person, or just any decent, respectable person for that matter, get behind the @greenparty.org.uk . Might not fix everything over night, but it's a good start down the long road to a better world.
Thanks for all the messages of hope from my leaders interview with @bbclaurak.bsky.social

This is it. This is our moment.

We're taking on Reform.

Reform’s choice in Gorton and Denton tells you everything you need to know
Goodwin is a dangerous extremist with views on race that the vast majority of us find absolutely abhorrent.

Week by week - Laura Kuenssberg is interviewing the party leaders.

When I agreed to come on the show, I was told Nigel Farage was also doing it.

He's now pulled out - and they've sent the deputy instead.

The same Nigel Farage who's refusing to debate me.

A pattern emerging...
