I remember when Microsoft Word first had like the grammar checker introduced into word. It was absolutely infuriating. I was so angry at it. I shut that off because I could not handle it.

You have to go to particular effort to use software that is LLM free these days. In an industry that runs on MS office, that level of control is very difficult.
Personally I use software that has a dictionary file and zero guidance on grammar, but I had to very much choose that.
