Since Southern Baptist Mike Johnson's treatment of GOP women is in the news, folks should know that these men are trying to recreate how they run their homes & churches in the federal govt.

I said months ago when Johnson was picked for Speaker this would happen. He was in leadership in the SBC. They believe all women are disqualified for leadership over men because Eve was deceived by the serpent in Eden.

When he blocked nursing members to be able to vote remotely, this bigotry against women was at the core. He has created an environment designed to push women out. This is what SBC does in their churches & homes.

Stefanik is running for NY governor so this reads more to me like an opportunity for her to take a pot shot at an unpopular Republican without really hurting herself on the right and trying to win centrist NY votes and also get her name in the paper.
