I use a paper plate in my microwave. The thick biodegradable version works well if you’ve go a very hot bowl of food. Just lift the item out with the plate. Also keeps the turntable clean. Doesn’t catch on fire.

That and he needs to look at the Southern textile mills and coal mines that continued the tradition of human exploitation. The company towns and labor practices were a continuation of the mentality that grew out of slavery. You cannot ignore Big History and the effects it has today.
