Solo developing an unnamed indie game on my free time.

It was a very inspiring vibe, 20 years in the making. At the end, fans will do what Capcom won’t! It pains me to see how they half assed the last Megaman games.

Overall, pretty happy with the result since I can combine camera angles, expressive characters, and even include custom animations in the future!

I wanted to make something easy to work with that would animate character faces and, say, make them speak for a number of seconds. I worked with @nathanhoad.net's Dialogue Manager-- it allowed me to add small events in my dialogues to build a cutscene.

I really hated the drill and vacuum in MML, but they were good ideas for unlocking areas. Having three weapons would still let you take a good loadout, the idea is to have fun!

For now, you can shoot while moving and strafing, but not while running backwards to avoid too much cheese by kiting enemies. Also, the idea is to have three different weapons at a time— primary, secondary and support. Some of them will stop you to shoot, some allow running at the same time.

Glad you liked it! For now, I’m working on it as a passion project only, as I do have a full time job. I am definitely fleshing out all the concept and characters, but for now the big milestone is only a working prototype.
If it gets traction, I might consider going all in for an actual release.

Thanks! That was the intent. I want to make something that evokes the same feeling as legends, but is definitely NOT a fan game.
