My son LOVES Super Mario Land 2, so today we have played it end to end once again. It's possibly my second most favourite Mario game after Super Mario Bros 3, but we have beaten it so many times that it's getting a bit long in the tooth.

Because there are many other pepper varieties that people are used to 😜 but if the demand grows surely they'll become more common.

Outer Wilds is so magical, so powerful and so overwhelming. It gives me existential vertigo.

In all fairness they look as good on a modern TV with a good shader. People have created wonderful shaders that emulate different kinds of CRT screens and signals.
I am saying this while sitting next to a MiSTer FPGA connected over RGB (SCART) to a 14" Trinitron. I have no horse in this race :)

I've sold a bunch of handhelds and just bought a Logitech G Cloud. I think it would be a good counterpart to the Steam Deck, especially for Game Pass and Xbox streaming. I hope the controls are tight :-)

My first thought about the RG34XX's announcement was "meh", but now I've learned the screen is 3x the GBA's resolution and I'm convincing myself that for the price of one videogame** I could play all the GBA Castlevanias and Metroids as $DEITY intended (plus save states).
** Hopefully 40-60EUR

Incredibly fun tank battle game.
Two friends and I used to play this by sharing one keyboard. We had countless hours of fun.

Hi @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com you may have seen this already but there was a contest in Reddit for the most beautiful Good Omens cover and Marina Vidal has won with her cover for the Catalan 2022 version. "Bons Averanys" is "Good Omens" in Catalan :)

I received a new lot of GBC and GBA games from Vinted and among them was this Donald Duck Goin' Quackers for the GBC. It is surprisingly good. The levels have just the right amount of difficulty, music is cool and controls are great. It felt like a Rayman game. Turns out it's Ubisoft's too.

I think I may have been around 5 years old when my parents bought an Amstrad CPC 464 for the family. This is the first game I remember playing, "Oh Mummy!".

This is the first game I ever bought with my own money. I'm not a fan of ice hockey, but the game looked fun and you could even fight the other players. The mini game during the break was also great (basically a boss fight from Gradius).
I played it to death despite just having a couple of modes.
