#NowPlaying: Can: Live In Paris: 1973. Released in 2024 as part of the series of archive live recordings. Recorded at 'L'Olympia a few months after the release of Ege Bamyasi. Five extended jams, some are explorations of the EB material. One of Damo's last shows with the band.

#NowPlaying: Can: Tago Mago: 1971. The first full length studio album to feature Damo Suzuki, although he had appeared on Soundtracks. Epic long jams, lots of tape splicing and background recordings, discovering the Can sound. Excellent album

#NowPlaying: Can Soundtracks: 1970. A compilation of pieces written for films. Both Malcolm Mooney and Damo Suzuki are featured on this album. I've never seen any of the films listed and I get the feeling they are probably best left unseen 🤣, great music though.

#NowPlaying: Can: Monster Movie: 1969. Their debut album, after the other one failed to secure a release. I love this album, Malcolm Mooney left soon after this, although he is featured on the next album, he would eventually return to the fold, but I've got quite a few to play before then.
