Relative anonymity in X/Twitter/Bsky/other platforms leads to inappropriate venting and to trolling to get a rise out of people. Both acts are inappropriate - first because it is a knee jerk reaction without adequate thought, and, the second serves little purpose except for a few jollies.

As a society, the West decided to abandon all previously learned rules of public health, and decide to imitate an ostrich. They will pay a huge price for it. The decision was made to sacrifice millions of lives (it will be many 10's of millions over the next few years) at the altar of GDP.
