Local food pantries, food rescue groups that repurpose food being sent to landfill - all could use help. Also look for your local chapter of Food Not Bombs (FNB- no hierarchies or salaries, staffed by volunteers) to see how you could help them.

So the banks ripping off customers who can least afford it for the benefit of their bottom line and investors, and returning said monies would be a form of theft from shareholders/investors - sounds like the ultimate gaslighting scam from corporate thieves.
