The best surprise I received at work from my parents and sister was when I was stationed at Minot AFB, ND. I was standing guard at the main GATE. and they came to visit and pulled up. I was so excited. Here's a picture from their visit 40 years ago!

Back in the 90s, my friend and I used to go to the Brew N' View in Urbana, IL. It was a college town and they'd show several movie genre type movies. My favorite was the showing of the beginning James Bond films. My biffyyeven snuck in martinis. 😊

I did not adopt Binx, he adopted me. I was hiking a year ago at the end of summer and sat down to rest. There was this little mew and he was by my side wanting me to pick him up. I almost left but couldn't leave him there. So he's been with us ever since.

I'm a USAF veteran of the Security Police. Here's a picture of Bear. Our MWD at my first base, Minot, AFB, ND. He was a great dog who left us too early. Now MWDs can be adopted for retirement. 🐶😁🐶

I was in the USAF during the 80s, and I always ended up with the freeze dried pork patty. God they sucked!! It looks like today's MREs are much better.
