From Jack-o-Lanterns to Thanksgiving pies, pumpkins figure prominently in fall festivities. Pumpkins are sensitive to climate conditions, though. Higher temperatures mean more heavy rain events, and bigger pest populations, which struck in 2015.

Did you know that the pumpkins we love to use for decorations, pies, lattes, etc., in the fall are particularly sensitive to certain weather conditions? Excessively wet conditions in the late summer and early fall, when pumpkins are reaching their maturity, can lead to more disease spread...
