Love to see some new BikeLink lockers going in at @caltrain.com's Lawrence Station

Can't decide if this cult of personality stuff is more disgusting or pathetic. Truly corrupt either way to try to taint all aspects of the federal government with the Trump brand

This is the question voters were answering in November 2020 with Prop I

Given the lack of truly objective evidence about the order of events and how the incident began I think it's fair for the former mayor to have categorized things this way, especially in the summer of 2020.

Can we really learn from what's being done in Texas or North Carolina, though?

We should have programs to assist people with limited ability to pay property taxes so they can move or don't lose their homes but basing it on age in particular is super regressive

Why is @kqednews.kqed.org reporting it as fact that the Trump is trying to increase our energy independence? An administration interested in energy independence would be ramping up wind and solar, not blocking it

@kqednews.kqed.org spoke to a few Republicans in Norco (town in Riverside County) who are ostensibly. ibly worried that being represented by a Democrat in Congress will bring their way of life to an end, and now I'm even more fervently pro-Prop 50.

This statement from @arocbayarea.bsky.social reads as disturbingly antisemitic (unless @politico.com cut out context). I don't expect the priorities of JPAC to reflect the priorities of California voters at large any more than I expect the priorities of AROC to. 1/

Not sure what this guy is doing driving around downtown BK on Sabbath - I think FSD still counts

Just noticed that the logo for The White House on @linkedin.com is Trump's face - they really don't want to give anyone the impression that the executive branch exists to serve the American people

Just canceled my @theatlantic.com subscription, just truly unbelievable levels of nonsense here. I don't object to viewpoint diversity but it needs to be grounded in objective facts, not whatever this is

One of those takes that seems intuitively wrong to everyone except for $TSLA investors, and is also flat out absurd to anyone who's taken even an undergraduate level course in sensors. Truly a Musk special.

Since I'm stuck on a delayed @caltrain.com it seems like a good time to share tonight's BATAC agenda - the meeting is relatively light but we'll be getting an update on social media strategy, the website, and on bike rooms + lockers. 5:45 PM in San Carlos, or us02web.zoom.us/j/8767885106...

It's also troubling that some of these writers and historians are attributing a breadth of perspectives to the AI models that are simply unknowable at this stage.

Whether it's cars or LLMs people have an innate want to humanize these systems in ways that distort their real utility and output
