One of the most important marches I ever participated in was in 1977 when there were 43 of us celebrating the LGBTQ student alliance recognition by the University of Missouri and 250 protesters./1

If they live in a house with a mortgage they locked in 20 years ago, they cannot afford to move. And putting down community roots over the decades makes a fixed income life considerably easier to accomplish.

That would be incredibly helpful. Most retirees cannot afford to sell their affordable mortgage or paid off homes and move.

Most retirees regardless of their age cannot afford to move in this housing market. If they're living in a paid off house, they won't make enough selling it to buy another place to live.

I heard that speech. Our benefits have not yet been cut – that takes an act of Congress. Stop telling people it's already happened, that is a form of constituent engagement suppression. It discourages people & makes them think they have no ability to influence the process. Is that what you intend?
