Don’t get me started on the fact that the Republican Party and “conservative” movement spent the last 40+ years building this machine they’re driving.
Most of the old guard GOP happily handed over the wheel, hopped in the back seat and started grinning and cheering like idiots.

Or Newsom’s ego has inflated to the point that he believes he can somehow defeat/deflate them by doing this.
Which of course is wrong and exhibits a lack of self awareness (like what, he’s Socrates waiting for his hemlock moment?).
Either way, it’s incredibly disappointing to see this from him.

Jackson is an outstanding Judge and in a sane world she would be on SCOTUS.
She was one of the first to explicitly tell Trump he wasn’t a king - in his *first* term.

Yea I understand celebrating legal victories, but I don’t think people understand that a lot of these “victories” are too little too late, and celebrating them obscures the damage that’s already being done.
Like laughing when they have to rehire… but what if only “certain kinds” are being rehired?

Schumer and Durbin clearly illustrate why Dems’ seniority-based approach to leadership positions is a detriment to the Party, and to the country.
