I never wrote for Star Wars Insider, but today I want to thank everyone who contributed such meaningful work to 237 wonderful issues. “End of an era” is overused but this truly, truly is. For this fan, seeing my name and mug in print alongside great friends from time to time was an absolute honor.

A current look at the former San Rafael, CA home of Industrial Light & Magic, Kerner Optical, and 32Ten Studios. Still vacant since closing in 2023. And I’m told the buildings are in pretty rough shape inside after years of wear and tear. Heck of a fixer upper opportunity, though!

On the historic Fox Studios Lot in LA there’s a mural on Stage 5 honoring his 1974 classic “Young Frankenstein”. (Inside is where they built the castle set.)
The EGOT legend is still going strong and will return in “Spaceballs” 2!
