I don’t think a party that loses 4x to mediocrities like GWB and Trump (or allows the race to be close enough to steal) is doing a good job.

I do not blame you one bit.
I lived in the Netherlands (Bussum) for a year. Now I wish I had tried harder to make that relationship work. (I had to come back here to go to grad school.)
