I grew up with the golden oldies. Before there was online gaming, DLC and game patches, we got our games on little floppy discs and what you bought was what you got! My generation was the foundation for what gaming is today.
It all began on February 21st 1986. Almost 40 years ago, a masterpiece was born. #TheLegendofZelda #NES #Nintendo

Turtlemania was running wild, back in 1989, when this classic came out on NES! The hours, days and weeks I would spend, lpaying this over and over. #TMNT #TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles #Nintendo

This next one was THE space shooter of the 1980s! #RType on the #Amiga It is a side scrolling shoot 'em up best known for its extremely tough and strategic gameplay. You control the R9 spaceship as it launches a last ditch effort to repel the evil Bydo empire. Also, it has a kick ass soundtrack!

First game that I grew up with, was the 1991 classic #Lemmings on the #amiga Oh the number of times I nuked these little guys just for my amusement (The goal was to save them but killing them was more fun lol). 140 levels split across four difficulty groups – "Fun", "Tricky", "Taxing" and "Mayhem"
