Trump is a transparent example of how a right wing government under late stage capitalism will do anything to uphold the capitalist status quo. Even at the expense of their own ‘nation.’ They will burn everything to the ground before relinquishing their place as the ruling class.

The Democrats have 7 votes of leverage right now. Senate Democrats must show Trump that they can check his government. Until we can reinstate common sense healthcare funding and show the president that congress has a spine to use its rightful authority they must resist a FOURTH budget stopgap.

When a regime invades politically dissident cities you know they have no interest in democracy. The Trump Administration’s interest in an oppressive unitary state is transparent. Politicians must stop the weaponization of federal law enforcement and prevent federalization of the national guard.

The Democrats can not cave like they did in March. The Democrats have leverage in the Senate to stop these endless continuing resolutions. Republicans have no interest in stopping this federal rampage and no interest in working with the opposition; the Democrats must use their 7 votes in the Senate.

The right is ready to manipulate any tragic situation to socially attune and recruit the American public into their fascist scapegoating of several marginalized demographics. The elite will do anything to continue the systematic oppression of working people, dissidents and other disparaged peoples.
