they already DID betray everyone, numerous times. what are you guys going to do differently after Lucy yanks away the football for the 50th time? this thread is so infuriating

right like it feels like I’m losing my mind that they’re acting like it’s a win to get them to have a vote. they’re just going to vote no?? we already know that???? what’s the point?????????

isn’t the most important thing at all times that we make sure white people are never uncomfortable

hmmm, now that I don’t know. they go in through your wrist with wires (I do have a wrist squick, that was the worst of it) to cauterize the arteries that feed into the uterus. I can’t see how it would affect eggs but might affect gestation? good question. that wasn’t a concern for me so I didn’t ask

that’s what I assumed it was! I was just like “oh I’m just short on iron and oxygen and therefore the will to live,” did not realize that bitch was also draining the serotonin reserves
November 10, 2025 at 10:24 PM
but I also know that like you are an extremely smart and informed patient who asks good questions and I’m glad there are at least some options

like the world is on fire we cannot afford EXTRA depression

it’s used a lot to treat endometriosis and fibroids and it worked like a charm for me but not for Cat, who ended up having to have a full hysterectomy anyway, so your doc may have ruled it out, but I’m a real evangelist for it because it genuinely changed my life but very few docs specialize in it

I know we both hate unsolicited internet medical advice but I will say, just because it’s a procedure a lot of people with haunted uteri aren’t told about as an option, I have adenomyosis and wasn’t able to have surgery so they did an embolization which is non-invasive (15 min outpatient)

genuinely think we should picket his church

I’m also not above bribing a pastor to give a sermon on healthcare

did your psychiatrist have a solution for you? it’s so nice to know like “there is a scientific reason for the thing!”

I think because for me, depression manifests as just like being gray and listless and numb and blah and kind of withdrawing from everything, which is also how energy drain feels, it’s very hard for me to tell if “I just want to stay in bed all day” is originating from a mental or a physical source
November 10, 2025 at 10:10 PM
that makes so much sense!!! they put me on progesterone after my hospitalization to stop my period while they dealt with the pulmonary stuff so I could have the permanent procedure (uterine embolization, 10/10 recommend) and it truly was like a dark cloud lifting I can only see now looking back
November 10, 2025 at 10:10 PM
wait Erin this explains so much

because when I was in my anemia era (lost like 40% of my hemoglobins, not to brag), I realized later like “oh that’s why I was tired all the time” but I never really had an explanation for the depression fog except just that it must have been related to the fatigue
November 10, 2025 at 10:00 PM
actually, you know what

picketing outside the churchgoing senators’ churches would probably really really really make them uncomfortable

free idea to a good home

these people shouldn’t be able to go anywhere
November 10, 2025 at 9:49 PM
you don’t think anyone’s gonna say shit to you at church???????
