In Scotland the Binomial estimation is an advanced higher skill - last year of secondary school
But the stuff using sine rule/cosine rule/area of a triangle is National 5 level - equivalent of GCSE
I’d expect a very good N5 pupil would be able to combine the trig and algebra skills
