I would find myself lucky in that I lost no one as a result of my revelations.

I would also find my world, my community, my friends all expand incredibly, and in that too I am lucky.

But on that day, I knew none of this, and simply had to make the leap.

I am glad that I did, two years ago today.

I lost track of time, standing there talking to her. I kinda had a lot to say.

I think I’ll have a lot more to tell her in the future.

From now until then, I just hope I can be worthy of her memory.

I miss you big sister.
