Quick checkin- Mom got a serious cut to her hand this week, and the result is I’m exhausted after a week of parental care. I’m on limited mental capacity and quiet as a result. I’m fine using the adjusted parameters.

So general life update. After several months of prep and help from friends, I’ve finally pulled the trigger on officially relocating out of Texas. Stuff in storage is on the way here. Mom’s isn’t the final destination, but it’s a good call for now.

This week has been exhausting. One more vet appointment today (nothing serious, just establishing care) and I can rest this weekend. Maybe.
