I don’t usually like to promote, given that I’m concerned about people feeling this is spam (it’s also why this thread is being posted in non-peak hours). But I’m hoping this will be enough for now. I’ll change things up as I get more comfortable.

While I’m not in any financial difficulties at the moment, I would also be grateful if you considered donating through GitHub Sponsors.

Whether it’s a one-time donation or recurring, it really helps me out in knowing that there’s continued interest in this project.

Time for me to gush on how cute my favourite Mario princess is once more, as well as how much cuter you always make her no matter what you do. 🥹

(I just love her so much. Forgive my fanboying.)

It doesn’t help that I’m experiencing discomfort (but thankfully NOT pain) from the places where the two teeth used to be. I’m taking my medication as needed, but not being able to eat most foods has been the most annoying thing.

(I miss my cookies… 😭)

Nah, it’s fine. I’m not upset about it. Though I know there will be others that would seriously think this, so I still wanted to clear the air. This was more of a response to those who believed that than anything else.

I’m happy you’re comfortable enough to make those jokes so it’s all good.

(Also, Apple is carrying Swift in terms of resources, so I’m trying my best to raise up the stats even a little bit so Apple still feels like it’s still worth pouring resources into it. I literally fee at home with this language.

… I should probably write a blog post about it.)

Sorry for the long thread; I just want to be clear that I’m not someone who forces people to use it, but at the same time, I am excited about it, and I want people to at least consider it and be respectful about it, rather than be a zealot and rude.
November 14, 2025 at 3:13 AM
But I get it: Swift just isn’t popular (4% usage from the latest StackOverflow survey if I recall.

I’m building tools *for* the Swift community, not so much for everyone else that thinks Swift sucks. But it would be nice to see people choose Swift for full-stack development. But we need more tools. If no one’s going to do it, then I will.
November 14, 2025 at 3:13 AM
And I was like, “aww, I wish they chose Swift… but I can see why Go was the better choice” and moved on.

I just want to prove that Swift *can* be more than an Apple platforms-only programming language.

When TypeScript announced the compiler was going to be re-written in Go, I felt really, really annoyed when Rust users were like, “why didn’t they use Rust!?!?” The Swift community didn’t all that bothered by it.
November 14, 2025 at 3:13 AM
Please note that *unlike* some of the Rust people, I’ll not trying to shove it in people’s throats, saying if you don’t use it, then you’re a bad person or something (I’ve seen that way too many times than I’m willing to admit).

“I love you guys whee is the besrist governor?”

What the hell was I trying to say? 🫠🤣

Autocorrect certainly made sure I had punctuation at least.

I think I’m in the dentist drug or something.

If my next post is something stupid, I apologize: I'm probably still on the sedative...

(I'll *try* to work on *something* but I might end up being too "high" to write any coherent code, so... yeah...)
November 13, 2025 at 1:55 PM
And version 0.32.4 is out now (I'm not sure why Bluesky couldn't get the thumbnail image...).

#ATProto #Swiftlang #atdev

NOW I will get ready to go to the dentist place (thankfully it's not that far and it'll happen in a few hours).

Ugggggh... this one is a pretty annoying change. I hope that no one is using moderation stuff in ATProtoKit right now, so if you don't mind, I'm going to skip the tools.ozone lexicons can put them in the next update (version 0.32.5, or 0.33.0, depending on what happens).

My apologies for this.

(Note for those using assistive technologies: I don't smoke.)
November 13, 2025 at 1:38 PM
I'm almost done. Just need to get the com.atproto and tools.ozone lexicons (as well as making sure it builds) and I'll be done; version 0.32.4 will be out.
