Notre dame skipped a bowl and we still ended up in this slop fest?

All I said no one should cry tears about them missing the champ game. Glad they made it in. Go outside!

You think so? Feels like they basically had the same week. Beat a lower ranked team on the road but still didn’t do enough to get to their conference title game

Not even specific to college football. Your employer generally isn’t going to let you finish out your two weeks if you go to a competitor!

You are just pushing back whether you know you are getting the 2 points or not! Theres extra certainty in pushing that back. You actually get less info by waiting to go for it
November 28, 2025 at 11:05 PM
But if go for it early, you know whether you made it and can plan accordingly! It’s better to know you missed and need two scores so you can do stuff like onside kick than keep a facade of hope (assuming you are missing it anyway)

The clock is a factor which is why it’s nice to know what you need! The XP first is just deluding yourself into assuming you will definitely make the 2 pointer, which we can see didn’t happen because the missed the first one. Better to know exactly what you need

100% believe this. Also lets your owner take some time off between actual cash spending in a league where spending cash helps you get around the cap. Eagles did this between the 2017 and 2024 championships. They even had to do a mini reset between 23 and 24 on the defensive side of the ball

I am not a very smart guy but I read that at some point in the next few years all the processing chips will have to be replaced and it will be over because no one is going to spend to do that with no tangible results

I cannot believe our football teams went up 28-0 and 21-0 on back to back days and we had to deal with that shit. Also somehow pitt is the one who didn’t blow it?
November 24, 2025 at 12:55 AM
Can’t wait to hear about the rate at which he throws into tight windows! How exciting!!!
November 23, 2025 at 10:36 PM
We are small but very important segment of the population. We also have the deal with the Sixers bullshit
November 23, 2025 at 3:31 AM
Need someone bold enough to go for a fake punt in a key situation
November 23, 2025 at 3:29 AM
He exists to be the most insufferable version of a good football coach for Pitt possible. You never feel good about it but you also probably couldn’t do any better
November 23, 2025 at 12:57 AM
I am wholeheartedly in agreement with this until war is mean about a player I like. I will forever close my eyes and believe Ryan Howard was better than he actually was
November 22, 2025 at 11:07 PM
Oh for sure. They are completely different experiences

My extremely PA brain can’t imagine not having Mad Elf. True holiday staple. I like the Grand Cru a little more but that’s coming from someone who used to live next to a sour brewery in Athens Ohio

I feel like he just doesn’t play QB the way a certain type of football fan wants him to play. Doesn’t have the super strong arm or make the cool throws that people post about. Also pretty high variance. But idk how you watch his career and say he’s anything but good
November 17, 2025 at 4:53 PM
This stuff drives me insane. That’s the kind of stuff you talk about in the draft when you are projecting stuff. Who cares about when you are evaluating the player in the current league
November 17, 2025 at 4:20 PM
Pretty surprised it says go tbh
November 16, 2025 at 5:28 PM
To be fair, he only had 2 weeks to prepare
November 15, 2025 at 6:17 PM
He also was going to be an official ambassador for the yu-gi-oh tcg before the uhhh “stuff” started to circulate on the internet. An eclectic person!

Notre dame is already ahead of Miami. Miami isn’t going to jump them
