Put effort in to take the drift car out ONCE this year. Got to track, car broke nearly immediately. Fixed enough to get back onto trailer. Drifting is so stupid.

Almost done! Need to make a stand with some shelving and some trim work on the box itself! So far pretty pleased with how it’s turned out! ☺️

I want to be able to do some airbrush work during winter, so I’m making a booth with filtered forced ventilation (that will go out a window)! Kind of a concept based off one I’ve seen, that I hope will work! Making good progress ^_^

Oh I forgot I also took the 5 minutes to replace the starter button on my s13….at least I can let it idle and get to operating temp now while it sits >.>

What a productive weekend yet still feel like I achieved nothing 😆. Replaced the starter on my plow truck, cut nailer studs for securing my subfloor, started re-insulating the floor prior to subfloor install and finally cut out a new RC body I’ll be working on soon. 🤷🏻♂️

Every time I get to drive the RD2, I love it more and more. Last night I won 2nd place in the RC drift “best looking car” show and 3rd place in the tandem competition. Still only upgraded what I thought it needed, thing is a weapon!

Dang it, @furality.org, knowing how to bring the emotions out of all of us. You knew what you were doing scheduling @value.gay’s set last in the replay…and I whole heartedly thank you for it. So much love ❤️. Woke up at 3:30am to make sure I caught it with friends. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

The Z reaches into my wallet once again 🥲. Started the timing belt/hose kit replacement tonight. The more I disassembled, the more “this car is 30+ years old” became apparent. Thinking I’m just gonna pull the engine at this point and do all the seals, engine harness and motor mounts.

Cleaned up the garage and swapped the 4R and Z around. Don’t want a disassembled car to be in the way. With the Z in the right side spot, I can tear into the top and front of the engine to replace hoses, water pump, timing belt and other “while I’m here” things! :D

Z parts showed up in a big box! OEM 99’ spec final edition bumper, JDM tail lights, silicone hose master kit and some other odds and ends! 😍 Then of course the OEM+ lip wing from Z1 went on clearance/overstock….some had to order that too, for 60% off! HECK, my wallet…but this has been the plan! ^_^

Aaaand now the front suspension got a full overhaul. Poly bushings, all adjustable control arms, Coilovers and steel braided brake lines! Next up with some engine work. Timing belt, water pump and everything that goes with those when tearing that deep into things!

The rear subframe is all cleaned, new poly bushings installed, everything reassembled, new arms, eccentric lockouts, coilovers and back in the car! Now onto the front!
