The bonnet works surprising well on the models on the Kiltane site. I was not convinced until I checked, but it’s won me over.

I’ve only ever *heard* a grizzly bear in the wild, and that was quite enough for me without laying eyes on him. Banana slug terror? They are quite alien, esp en masse.

KQED Forum has someone from The Atlantic on talking about *their* recently compiled list of children’s books too. We are formed in relationship and in language; reading to children (even infants!) is so important.
