Government sucks, but it doesn't have to suck as much.

Sharing ideas for a better government.

focusing mostly on Utah (where I live) and Federal Government.
All the misleading lies in this instagram by Utah's GOP senate. They can't even let comments open because they don't want to be called out. They want Utahns to live in ignorance and give the state all our voting power.

Governor Cox is completely lost. This pisses me off more than anything else he's said or done. He represents a state with reps like Owens and Kennedy. Two Trump lackeys. Only won because he signed a map that has every corner of the state touching Salt Lake.

There's a legal argument about this being killing 'enemies' first without due porcess, etc.

But before that we need to push for the actual evidence that these are drug cartels. The idea that Trump is murdering innocent people is unbelievable inmoral and evil. That needs to be settled.
"Trump and his top White House aides pushed for lethal strikes on Western Hemisphere drug traffickers almost as soon as they took office in January, and in the past 10 months have repeatedly steamrolled or sidestepped government lawyers who questioned whether the provocative policy was legal"
White House blew past legal concerns in deadly strikes on drug boats
The Trump administration sidestepped skeptical lawyers across national security agencies as it pursued a military campaign against alleged narcotraffickers, officials say.

NEW: ICE has finally released post-shutdown detention data. The latest data reveals that a full 40%(!) of people arrested in the interior and held in ICE detention have no criminal record; no criminal charges or prior convictions. That is up from just 4% when Trump took office.

I was able to go visit Charlotte this past summer. It was a beautiful safe and very clean town. I had a lot of fun walking all over downtown for 3 days.
Charlotte City Council Member: I do not see this as an improvement of public safety. If anything, it's doing the opposite. It's causing chaos, it's causing fear, and it's causing confusion. We did not get any prior communication nor transparency about CBP being in our city.

It’s part of a money trail that’s been shrouded in secrecy—and involves $220 million, a mysterious Delaware LLC & a horse named Gill.

Kat is being federally charged by the FBI for protesting at Broadview.

This is a flagrant political prosecution by the Trump administration, which is trying to prevent free speech and free association.

I am proud of Kat. Her movement is being targeted by the government. She needs your support.
I have been charged in a federal indictment sought by the Department of Justice.

This political prosecution is an attack on all of our First Amendment rights. I’m not backing down, and we’re going to win.
