Wake Up Dead Man
I hope Rian Johnson and Daniel Craig keep making these forever. Less camp than Glass Onion and a return to the groundedness that made Knives Out feel so raw. Wake Up Dead Man is another excellent addition to the series.

Lies of P
Easily the best of the off brand Soulslikes out there. It unfortunately falls a bit short of the mark in terms of boss and level design. However, the more story forward approach was much appreciated in a genre that is often so focused on being obtuse.

I don’t think the characters and dynamics worked as well for me in this season as season 2. However the themes went crazy and I think it gets better the more I think about it. Whole cast was really going for it in this one

Felt a bit much to get a theater seat for a condensed version of season 2 and a preview of season 3. But season 3 looks like it will cook and seeing Naoya animated for the first time was a treat. I don’t love this next arc but I think animated it will work for me

I think I actually enjoyed this one a bit more than the first season. The dynamics of the couples in particular were fantastic and I appreciated its riffing on sex and power.
Aubrey Plaza deserved all the awards for her performance

Only because I see a lot of media through a certain lens but I think there is a common theme in how discourse covers Glinda and I think its really overlapped with how Caitlyn gets discussed in season 2

I think it’s a step down from the first one both writing and performance wise. However, the overall themes still really stand out to me.
It could have done more to try and correct some of the issues that the musical’s second half had.
